Yoga Therapy: Recovery Yoga for Runners

Finished the Standard Chartered race? Signed up for more races this season? Need to recover well so you can train and run soon?

This workshop will show you how to bring relief to your legs and lower back, allowing your muscles to recover better, so you can get back to training again. Slow recovery can result in injury and lost training time. Learn how to take care of your legs, so you can run better in the next race.

We will be using blocks, straps and chairs to provide support in the poses. This is not a studio yoga class, changing from one pose to the next rapidly. Have a look at an excerpt from the book Yoga for Runners, on the Human Kinetics website:
