This training course is for those who hope to learn more about or enjoys trail running sports, desires to make profound improvements or maintain a long life-span in their running. Course contents include essential skills of trail run, training schedule, injury prevention, nutrition, racing strategy.

Course Objectives & Detail Contents
 Setting running goal according to participants’ running background
 Trail run proper gear: selection of suitable shoes, socks, clothing, tapes, lotion applications, etc.
 Training schedule: proper stretching exercise, strengthening, recovery, cross training
 Trail run skills: hill training, running ascent and descent, running on different terrain
 Nutrition and supplements: for training, for tendon recovery
 Hydration: water and supplementary drinks
 Possible problem: pronation and supination, injury, heat acclimation, chafing on feet and legs, stomach problem, nausea & vomiting, prevention, cure & care
 Racing strategy: setting goal, glycogen (carbo) loadings and depleting, support crew, pre-race preparation, after-race recovery. Contents will depend on those races that participants want to know)
