New route this year....from the start, the route goes straight down to Luk Keng, then into Wu Kau Teng just the once, followed by running to the bar, and then looping back to the normal finish area. No need to go up the hill after the bar, where the route is very narrow.

Personally I think it is a better route - but is it faster? Luk Keng is a hilly 2K 100m+ descent, which of course, you have to CLIMB UP when you return!

oh I thought mizuno always follows that route ?

there are several different half marathon combinations held at this area . some just go up the hill a bit , some go all the way to the end of the track before turn around but seems mizuno always just turn around at the end of the dam . so I can assess my time and "sprint" up and down the dam to try achieve a PB.......
