Monaco Diamond League
The Olympic relay team has their final big warmup race in the Herculis meet Friday. They go at 19:40 Monaco time, which will be the middle of the night (early Sat morning) in Hong Kong. It should be on Eurosport and also streamed on the web. No start list posted yet.

recently all the diamond league competitions have been on eurosport at 0300hrs !! used to be repeated on evenings or weekend afternoons in previous years .

The start list is up: Hong Kong, Canada, Italy, France and two US teams. Lanes 1 and 8 are empty.

Everyone would have been very happy with a 39.19 last year. It would have qualified us for the World Championships. But of course we've improved a lot and expectations are much higher now.
The problem in Monaco is that we sent boys against men. We need a track team of NCAA veterans, as most other countries have. It's coming. We have Jessica Ching, and today Steven Ing and Kelvin Lau are packing their bags for US colleges.
