The North Face King of the Hills Sai Kung Mountain Marathon
Please find below a very preliminary write up. Very frustrating that some jerk thought it would be funny to turn course arrows in the wrong direction, remove ribbons from the proper course and use them to send runners up a hill to nowhere. Thankfully runners recovered and maintained good spirit to enjoy a lovely day out.

Davies recovers from course sabotage to post win on The North Face King of the Hills Sai Kung Mountain Marathon
Despite outside interference in the course markings, the nearly 500 runners enjoyed the fine weather and beautiful scenery along The North Face King of the Hills Sai Kung Mountain Marathon. Will Davies recovered best from course markings that were maliciously altered to send racers on the wrong trail up an extraneous hill and earned a well deserved victory in a time of 3:49:06, 3 minutes ahead of super 45-year old Arnaud Picut. Luckily all of the lead marathon pack climbed the same extra hill before discovering the subterfuge and returning to the real course with previous positions more or less preserved. In the ladies race, Aya Noyes reversed last month's result to best Olya Korzh in what is shaping up to be an excellent battle for Queen of the Hills. Darren Benson hammered the half marathon course in 1:34:49 to win decisively over 45-year old ace triathlete Jo Koster. Emma Bruce won her first KOTH half marathon in a fine time of 2:02:32.
