Looking for routes and/or running partners for last-minute training before SC HK Marathon

For light training, maybe you can just round inside Victoria Park next to Tin Hau, or you can go to Happy Valley running on the service road inside the race course.

I will be running in the Standard Chartered HK Half Marathon in February. I will arrive from Canada on January 23 and plan to do a training run (about 12KM) on Victoria Road between Kennedy Town and Pok Fu Lam Road on Jan 24. It would be good to run with a partner as I have never run this route before. Please contact me if you would like to join me.

Hi, just wondering anyone knows when is the SC marathon 2013 will be held? Im not from
hk but in the planning to join. However i will be in HK come this Dec?

The big one for Dec is Macau Marathon (also half) on Dec 2 but registration is only expected to start in September: http://www.macaumarathon.com/en/

There would be plenty of races in December but details are only available until Sep or Oct. Please check out this website by then.

Later in December is the Shek Kong 30K on an undulating hilly course a good practice run for full marathon . Date will be announced later so watch out here on this website .

HKMP has announced that Shek Kong 30k will be held on 13 Jan 2013 (same days as CCM??)

That's interesting. Some of those dates are different to those on HKAAA's calender.
