Looking for routes and/or running partners for last-minute training before SC HK Marathon
Hello everyone,
I'm originally from HK living in Holland (sorry, not very strong in Cantonese) and I'm coming back to run the Standard Chartered HK Marathon in February. For the first few days I'll be in the Tin Hau area before moving to TST for race day. Obviously I need to do my last light training in HK so I'm looking for route ideas and perhaps fellow runners who want to join (I'm aiming for 4:30 to give an idea on pace, typically faster on 5-10 k runs)!
Also, if anyone has run the marathon before, are there any things you would want to let any international runners know beforehand? I'm curious for any tips and watchouts.
Thanks :-)

For light training, maybe you can just round inside Victoria Park next to Tin Hau, or you can go to Happy Valley running on the service road inside the race course.
Re: Looking for routes and/or running partners for ...
I will be running in the Standard Chartered HK Half Marathon in February. I will arrive from Canada on January 23 and plan to do a training run (about 12KM) on Victoria Road between Kennedy Town and Pok Fu Lam Road on Jan 24. It would be good to run with a partner as I have never run this route before. Please contact me if you would like to join me.

Are you in Hong Kong now?
I will be running this weekend about 10K in the morning. I live in North Point (near Tin Hau) -
I will run along the coast to Central and back.
