Live location streaming via GPS

Hi, I'm looking for suggestions to use live streaming of location data via GPS to the internet. Scenario would be e.g. you're going on a long trail run and would like your better half to know approximately where about you are, so she can follow you on e.g. Google maps (near)real-time.

So a combination of GPS device with GPRS / HSxPA phone / PDA (plus plenty of battery power ...).

Runkeeper.com has launched such a service, but the iPhone GPS (even in the 3G S model) is rather inaccurate.

Anyone know of alternatives e.g. using more professional GPS (such as Garmin etc.)?

P.S. Value-added feature would be an auto-blackout of streaming when in certain vicinities, e.g. Wanchai pubs :-)
