K-Swiss runninmg shoes
I see that K-Swiss are moving into the general running market . They have a number of running shoes used by triathletes and now are sponsoring the LA Marathon . I was wondering if anyone has tried these shoes . I saw them in a K-Swiss shop in Shtin New Town Plaza and they look quite good but the cushioning doesnt look very thick . Look like they are more racing shoes than long distance ?

Re: K-Swiss runninmg shoes
Hi Mike,
There was a really good write up on K-Swiss in one of the triathlete magazines a few months back and they definitely doing lot of research to accomodate runners expectations. Some of my friends in Hong Kong were approached by K-Swiss and were given a pair of running shoes to try out.
The feedback has been really positive, but I must admit they do appear to be more racing specific. I may be a bit to heavy to use for training.
I went into the K-Swiss Time square shop and asked which model of runnings shoes was for stability or pronation. The sales assistant very politely brought me a pair of tennis shoes. In fact the sales person didn't even know if the shoes were for running or not.
I am in process of writing to K-Swiss, I think it is important they get the feedback.

Re: K-Swiss runninmg shoes
I checked the K-swiss.com website and they have description of different running shoes for stability/cushioning etc but not sure if all these models are sold in HK yet . But I would still prefer to hear from someone who has actually used them especially if they are 'larger' runners :-)
Re: K-Swiss runninmg shoes
Dear all,
My 2nd time post here.
I start to supported by K-Swiss this year from head to toe, and I mainly in OD triathlon and long distance triathlon.
You can see local sports magazine "Sportsoho" this issue they started to kick off the performance range...
I have few pair of shoes to try and race.
K-RUUZ--Very light weight and prefer for short distance. (10km)
KONESIC--Feel like Kayano but little bit heavy
K-ONA C--My current racing shoes, breathable, lightweight and good supporting.
K-ONA Ironman--Same as K-ONA C but come with IM logo, less breathable.
Run 1.5MiSOUL Tech--Haven't try yet...
Hope this help.
Best regards
PK
Re: K-Swiss runninmg shoes
I went to the K-Swiss shop in Ma On Shan to have a look at those new running shoes today. Seems to me that they designed it with triathletes in mind. Why? Because :
1) They've got Terenzo Bozzone advertizing the shoe.
2) It's got the "Ironman" and the M-Dot logo printed on it.
3) The sole & insides of the shoe is nice, comfy & without chaffing edges. Which means you can wear it w/o socks and run.
4) I think I recall seeing small holes in the bottom of the shoe (for water to flow out).
Gonna go get me a pair to try out ! :)
