What should I do?

On 10/9 & 17/9, I was running with my friends in Sha Tin District. In the mid-way, I met Lok Wah Cup & Cola Cup runners respectively. I went on running and ignore the runners. However, I found that we were intervening the top runners because our paces were far slower than the top runners and even subsequent runners. I want to seek you all's opinion what should I do next time in similar occassion:- a. should I stop running and wait all runners passing by? or b. be a ghost runner and continue my running. I got similar problem on 8/10 because I have a hiking appointment with more than 10 friends at the Peak at 8.00 a.m. We are going to go for hiking from the Peak to Yeung Ming. I learnt that on 8/10 there will be a hiking race. The route is from the Peak to Tai Long Cove via Yeung Ming. My participation would definitely intervening the race participants. Please advice what should I do? a. Change our hiking date; or b. go on our hiking and be a ghost hiker. WHAT SHOULD I DO? Reproduced by keithchan
