Hi all~ever since the 21K back at Dec 2008, i feel kind of sore/uneasy at the back of my right thigh, more concentrated on the Hip area. It becomes obvious whenever I get up from a sitting (usually for long time) position. The feeling almost (i will say 95%) disappear when I am running, but come back whenever I have a hard run (espeically speed-work). I try to ice the affected area but seems little improvement.
I am currently following the FIRST marathon training program which include 3 key-workouts (One Interval, one tempo and one long-run) a week and a easy run on those days in between. I plan to cut those easy runs in order to give more time for recovery. Is it sufficient enough or should I just run with it seem it is not so critical?
